Deletion and Refund
When an instance is deleted, if the instance has not expired, the system will automatically refund the amount of the unused part. Resources paid by day, month or year enjoy periodic discounts upon purchase. If the usage period is less than one cycle, the discount will be deducted during the refund process.
Refund amount = Max (0, the actual payment for the order - the consumed amount)
- Actual payment for the order: The amount paid with cash or bonus after the user enjoys the discount, excluding the part paid with vouchers.
- For resources purchased by month: When the usage duration is less than the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual payment for the order × (usage duration ÷ total duration of the purchase cycle) × 1.5. When the usage duration is equal to the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual payment for the order.
- For resources purchased by year: When the usage duration is less than the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Monthly unit price × 12 × number of years × (usage duration ÷ total duration of the purchase cycle). mWhen the usage duration is equal to the purchase cycle: Consumed amount = Actual payment for the order.
- If the consumed amount is greater than or equal to the actual payment for the order, the refund amount is zero, and the part of the arrears will not be collected.
- In the refund amount, the part paid with vouchers during the purchase is not eligible for refund, and the part paid with non-vouchers (cash/bonus) during the purchase will be refunded according to the payment proportion.
- The minimum billing unit for the refund is one hour, and if it is less than one hour, it will be calculated as one hour.
Automatic Renewal
After you purchase the ALB, the “Automatic Renewal Switch” will be enabled by default. When your account balance is sufficient, the system will automatically renew the service for you when it is about to expire.
The automatic renewal will be carried out according to the configuration and duration at the time of purchase. If your account balance is insufficient, the system will fail to deduct the fee when the resource is about to expire, and the resource status will be displayed as “Expired”. You can perform “Manual Renewal” after recharging.
If your payment cycle is monthly, for the convenience of account reconciliation, when the system automatically renews the service for you for the first time, it will renew the service until the end of the current month, and subsequent renewals will be carried out on a monthly basis.
You can choose to turn off the “Automatic Renewal Switch”. After the expiration, the resource will automatically enter the arrears status. The system will remind you of the expiration of the resource and matters related to renewal. At this time, the system will not release the user’s resource, and you can use the “Manual Renewal” function to renew the resource. If the resource expires, the system may recover the expired resource, so please renew it in a timely manner.
When you turn off the “Automatic Renewal Switch”, the system will send reminders to you via email and text message three days before the product expires. Within seven days after the product expires, the system will remind you daily of the expiration time of the product and matters related to renewal. For specific notification details and information related to configuration notifications, please check the recovery rules.
Renewal Validity Period
If the current status of your resource is “Expired”, when you perform manual renewal, a new renewal cycle will start from the expiration time. The resource will not be in an invalid state until the end time of the renewal cycle is later than the current time. If you renew the resource within its validity period, a new renewal cycle will start after the original renewal cycle ends.
