What is UWAN Smart Connect?

UWAN Smart Connect is an SD-WAN access service launched by DezaiCloud. It provides intelligent networking functions such as nearby access, encrypted transmission, and one-click interconnection for various stores and branches of enterprises. Enterprises can achieve the interconnection and intercommunication between the networks of branches/stores, cloud resources, hosted networks, and other private sites through the overall solution of “UWAN Smart Connect + UGN Cloud Networking”.

Product Forms

UWAN Smart Connect includes the following product forms:

  • CE (Customer Edge) Customer Gateway

It is suitable for networking between large branches and IDC machine rooms, as well as for large branches to access the cloud.

You can configure a public network VPN tunnel on the existing network exit device and connect it to the UWAN virtual router in the nearest region. This access method can retain the functions such as performance, security, and traffic control of the existing network exit device, and has no intrusion into the existing network environment.

  • CPE (Customer Provider Edge) Smart Gateway

It is suitable for networking between the networks of small and medium-sized branches and stores, as well as for the networks of small and medium-sized branches and stores to access the cloud.

You can deploy a CPE smart gateway in your node network. Through the automated configuration issuance of the CPE by the UWAN controller, the access from the node network to the UWAN virtual router can be automatically completed. With this access method, it can be used immediately after simple deployment, and can be accessed with just one click.

Product Components

  • UWAN virtual router: The UWAN virtual router is a regional-level virtual gateway that provides site access for the surrounding node networks. The node networks connected to the same UWAN virtual router can achieve interconnection and intercommunication by themselves.

  • UWAN access bandwidth package: Each UWAN virtual router is bound to a UWAN access bandwidth package, which includes UWAN access bandwidth and UWAN access IP. It is used for data transmission from the CE customer gateway/CPE smart gateway to the UWAN virtual router.

  • Other components: UGN Cloud Network It is a new-generation global network service product based on the Segment Routing technology. It builds an integrated private network for customers both on-cloud and off-cloud among VPCs in different regions, between VPCs and local data centers, hosted networks, and branch node networks. It helps users build an enterprise-level global network.
