Recommended firewalls

In order to provide convenience to users, the console provides two default “recommended firewalls”, which are “Recommended for Web Servers” and “Recommended for Non-Web Servers”. Aside from the fact that “Recommended for Web Servers” opens the “80” and “443” ports by default, both have the “22” and “3389” ports opened.

• Except for the opened ports, other ports are closed by default in firewall rules.
• The external firewall only takes effect for visits from elastic IPs from the external network.
• The default firewall rules cannot be modified, but you can click Copy from the default firewall details page to create a custom firewall with the same rules for modification.
