Intranet
The following documents briefly introduce the concept and limitations of the UHost intranet. For more detailed network-related content, please refer to Basic Network and Private Network.
Intranet IP
Intranet IP addresses are uniformly allocated by the system. If you manually change the intranet IP within the operating system, it will cause intranet communication to be interrupted. Communication traffic between hosts in the same data center via intranet IP is free of charge. Intranet IPs can be used for intranet access between UHost instances, as well as for intranet access between UHosts and other cloud services, such as UDB and UMem.
In addition, DezaiCloud also supports intranet virtual IP, which can be directly set on the host after application.
Intranet Speed Limit Rules
Outstanding UHost Series
The bandwidth limitation rules of the Outstanding UHost Series
(Outstanding type, Outstanding S type, Outstanding PRO type) are as follows:
Cores | Intranet Bandwidth Limit |
---|---|
4 cores and below | 2Gb |
8 cores | 4Gb |
16 cores | 7.5Gb |
32 cores | 15Gb |
64 cores and above | 22Gb |
Previous Generation UHost Series
The Previous Generation UHost Series
does not impose bandwidth limits, with a maximum intranet bandwidth of 10 Gb.
However, if network enhancement
is not enabled, the packet receiving and sending capacity may become the primary performance bottleneck, generally preventing the UHost from reaching the upper limit of 10 Gb bandwidth.
The maximum bandwidth can be calculated by the upper limit of the packet volume (300,000 PPS) * the average packet size. For example, with large packets of 1400 bytes, the bandwidth limit is calculated as: 300000 x 1400 x 8=3.36Gbps.
