Login Protection

DezaiCloud provides a free Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) based two-factor authentication service for login. After activating this service, users need to go through authorisation authentication each time when they log into the account. As the fixed account password is prone to leak, it is recommended to activate the account login two-factor authentication to reduce the risks caused by account password leakage.

Activation Conditions

1. The activation is applicable to independent main accounts or sub-accounts.
2. A TOTP-based token tool is installed on the mobile device.

How to Activate

1. Log in and enter the Personal Center-Account Security, click to turn on Login Protection.

2. Check whether the mobile device has installed a token tool based on TOTP technology. The page provides QR codes for downloading by IOS and Android users. If you haven’t installed it, you can download it by scanning the code.

3. After installation, open the APP, click on the TOTP authenticator, scan the code to add and get the authorization code, or you can get the authorization code by manually entering the account key.

4. Enter the retrieved authorization code in the box on the page. If the verification is correct, the binding is completed. Kindly note: In case of device replacement resulting in the loss of the key, please back up the key.

How to Turn Off

1. Enter the User Center-Account Security, click to turn off Login Protection.

2. Follow the page prompts to retrieve and enter the authorization code.

Function Application

After activating the two-factor authentication service, when you log in to DezaiCloud with your account password, you will be asked to enter the authentication code. Access authorization can only be obtained if the system judges the authentication code to be valid.

FAQ

Q: What if the APP can’t scan to get the authorization code?
A: You can switch to manual collection, then manually enter the account key to bind and get the authorization code.

Q: What are the recommended tools?
A: You can bind your account with other dynamic token tools based on the TOTP algorithm, such as Google Authoriticator, FortiToken, WeChat Mini Program “Two-Factor Verification Code”, etc.

Q: Does the same account support binding with multiple terminal tools?
A: Yes. You only need to use multiple terminals to bind the same account (scan code or enter the key). It is recommended that you properly save the keys provided by the system when binding the tools, which will be convenient for adding and binding new terminals in the future.

Q: What if I lost both the tool and the key and can’t log in? A: In this case, you can get help by contacting technical support.
